Gift ideas for travel lovers
1. Scratchable world map
This is a fantastic gift for international travelers who like to show off how much they travel. It’s also great fun to scratch off the countries as you visit them. We would love to have one of these hanging in our room or living room.
2. Ultrabook
We just bought ourselves one of these. It’s thin, it’s light, it’s fast! It also looks sturdy enough to take a few hits, and although it is the most expensive gift on the list, this is one of the cheapest ultrabooks. We think this is a fantastic computer to have when you travel a lot and need to write/work, like… I don’t know…. travel bloggers 🙂
3. Travel Camera
Let’s face it if you aren’t a professional photographer, you don’t need a DSLR. Yes, they can take better photos, but they are way too big, bulky, and heavy. And with all the lenses, it would be a nightmare to carry around. Sony, Canon, and Panasonic have small compact cameras that allow us to go fully manual and have many options to allow you to set free our artistic side. And they are so much cheaper…
Travel drafts favorite camera: Panasonic Lumix ZS200 / TZ200 Though, check this complete travel camera gear set!
4. External Battery Power Bank
This is a small battery that you charge devices, such as phones, tablets, cameras, or anything chargeable through USB. It can be so useful as a last-resort battery when travelers are away for long periods.
Our favorite: Anker Power Bank
5. Desk Globe
A small globe to put on the desk or end table back home. It will inspire you and your friends to travel and wander about new adventures around the world.
Our favorite: Explorer World Desk Globe
6. Pocket notebook
I know it’s old-fashioned, but a small notebook is always useful to take notes for future posts, to make a small account of the trip, or write some random thoughts or draw when you are bored.

7. Waterproof Dry Bag
A Drybag is very useful for an adventure traveler to keep documents safe when doing water activities. Even if you don’t expect to do it or be around water for too much time, it’s still a good way to ensure that accidents don’t happen and ruin the trip.

8. Universal Power converter
Do you know how many different power plugs and voltages exist? This can be a huge problem when traveling, and even worse if traveling to several countries. Imagine getting to your hotel only to realize that you can’t charge any of your devices.
So, a Universal power converter can be the savior, making it one of the best inexpensive travel gifts for men or women.
There are so many options!
9. Kindle Paperwhite & e-books
Books are ancient history and outdated!! Just kidding, books will always have their place, but when traveling, we need to be light, and carrying around 3 or 4 books isn’t possible. But a Kindle solves this problem easily. It’s thin, light has huge longevity, and can store a huge amount of books, in other words, perfect for long travels.
10. A Leatherman multi-tool
Multi-tools are fantastic, I love them and all the things you can do with them. Leatherman’s and Gerber multi-tools are very well-built, durable, and resistant. It’s a must-have for any traveler, especially long-term and adventure travelers. weighing only up to 300 g, you get around 15 tools, which include a knife, scissors, several screwdrivers, a can and bottle opener, pliers, a wire cutter, etc…
Our favorite multi-tool is Leatherman Wingman Multi-Tool
11. Ultralight towel
Any traveler needs to save weight and package space. Usually, towels are big, heavy, and difficult to pack, but these ones are light, small, and easy to pack and dry very quickly. This is a must-have and, therefore, a great gift.
Again, so many options, but these look great.
12. A day pack
Never underestimate how useful a day pack is when we are backpacking for several days or weeks. It will allow you to take side trips of 1, 2, or 3 days without taking everything with you! And this is priceless! Remember, a good day pack needs to be light, sturdy, and versatile.

13. Packing Cubes
Packing Cubes are essential for traveling. They help you keep tidy and organized. Plus, you can pack more clothes with them, keeping everything organized in your bag. With packing cubes, you don’t need to unpack when you check into a hotel. You simply take out the clothes as you need them, making it much easy to repack. They are life-changing. So this is the ideal gift for any traveler.
Feel free to offer any of these.
14. A travel tag
A travel tag is not only practical, but it can be an extremely cute fashion accessory. If your bag disappears, you won’t want to rely on the airline’s tag because it can easily be ripped and become useless. Some may even have a traceable device in case your bag goes missing. Others are just too cute not to be used! Check out this travel tag buying guide if you need help choosing the perfect one.
